The value Caribbean and Central America
After Easter, the Caribbean's rates fall 20–30% while the weather stays dry and 29°C — Punta Cana, Aruba, Jamaica, Barbados, St Lucia are all at their best value until the May rains. Cancun and the Riviera Maya are quiet after spring break and before summer, with the sargassum still light. Costa Rica's Pacific coast has its last dry weeks; Belize and Roatán's reef is clear.

Nepal's spring trekking season — Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna circuit with rhododendrons in bloom and clear mornings; Bhutan's Paro festival.
